Wengè

Widespread throughout Africa, Wengé is a big tree with an uneven trunk that can grow to 25 metres in height. This is a very hard, very dark wood, unique and original and it is particularly popular in interior design for surfaces and in cabinet-making for artistic crafts. It is also used for making electric guitars and basses.
