European walnut

The European Walnut is a species that originates in Asia, introduced to Europe and America in ancient times. It is a majestic tree, with straight trunk and elegant habit and can live up to 400 years. The Walnut has been well-known and appreciated since ancient times for its fruits of the same name, rich in nourishing and healing properties. It produces a very fine wood used above all for cabinet-making and crafts.
