Cabreuva Dorada
Also known as the maple of Paranà, Camboré and Bois d’Or, Guatambù is a species of tree that belongs to the Rutaceae family, typical of Southern America. Steaming is a wood treatment carried out using steam or boiling water to eliminate the stresses created during the drying process. It is also used to prepare wood for bending or the production of veneers, to achieve certain colour effects and to eliminate pathogens.
