These are the values at the base of XiLab®, the research workshop founded by Menotti Specchia in 2005, backed by a company history of almost ninety years. After just a few years, XiLab® stands out today due to the decidedly innovative nature of its products. A series of projects that represents a possible future for wooden surfaces and evolution of the very idea of interior design.
XiLab® goes beyond the traditional concept of covering, usually seen as a separate element parallel to furnishings, providing a complex articulated range of articles that gives indoor surfaces a role as style matrix. The work by XiLab® in fact starts with an idea of design that is checked and developed in different formats, for application to interiors according to a modular flexible concept, which in addition to coverings, can also include furnishing accessories.
