Menotti Specchia adheres to the Code of Transparency, an initiative of the GROUP Pavimenti in Legno (Wooden Floor Group) of EdilegnoArredo-Associazione Federlegno. The Code of Transparency is a binding tool for member companies, regulating implementation of the technical legislation in force. In addition to directly providing complete exhaustive information about its products, as a member Menotti Specchia undertakes to sensitise operators in the distribution chain so that they respect:
- • the "Code of consumption";
- • UNI standards and the manual "Il parquet. Dal progetto alla posa in opera" (Parquet. From design to laying), published in April 2009 as reference criteria in the event of technical controversies or general controversy
- • that the product is always accompanied by its production documents
- • UNI 11265 standards relative to building sites, even in those cases when the producer does not lay
the article but offers, or however recommends, third party laying services
